Hi! I’m Alexis — a wildlife science graduate from the University of Georgia with a passion for understanding and protecting the natural world!
My work has focused on human–wildlife interactions, from research to hands-on field experience, including time spent in the Piedmont region in Georgia and Grand Teton National Park. Through these experiences, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply human activity shapes wildlife behavior, survival, and habitat — sometimes in ways we don’t even realize.
Wildlife has always been a central part of my life, and I care deeply about making sure it continues to thrive. That’s what led me to create World Wildlife Blog.
This space is dedicated to breaking down wildlife conservation in a way that’s approachable, honest, and rooted in science. I focus on topics like threats to native species, human–wildlife conflict, and the small (but meaningful) actions people can take to make a difference. My goal is to reach people who may not realize these issues exist — and to show why they matter.
I truly believe that awareness leads to change. Even one conversation, one shared post, or one shift in perspective can have a ripple effect.
This community is a place for learning and discussion. I welcome your thoughts, questions, and personal experiences — they make this space better and broaden the conversation.
Thank you for being here and caring about wildlife. Your role in protecting it is more important than you might think.
All glory to God.
